Takanawa's CEO, Bolli Thoroddsen, was interviewed in Nikkei newspaper about gender equality in Japan and Iceland.

In 2017 Iceland topped the Global Gender Gap Index as #1 for the 8th year in a row while Japan ranks #111. In the interview Bolli emphasized the importance of gender equality and how Japan should do much more when it comes to gender equality.
